Abstract: This dissertation aims to study the end of life. This occurs in a morally right setting if at the behest of nature as the Creator planned the life of man. The end of life in a morally wrong setting occurs when there is planned interference of the life process either by suicide or else by euthanasia. The medical profession has a heavy hand in the process of Euthanasia. The Catholic church has condemned suicide. The Catholic church also condemns euthanasia and urges doctors and paramedics to stop doing it as well as to avoid any suggestions regarding the procured end of life. The solution the church offers is Assistance to the Dying. Assistance to the dying is one of the Rights of the Dying and medical progress in a moral ambience aims to make the end of life seem an extension of the normal sleeping process in complete peace and harmony.
