Abstract: I survey the meaning of Inculturation going mainly through the documents of the ‘magestrium’ and arriving at this definition. Inculturation is generally defined as the process of a deep, sympathetic adaption to, and appropriation, of a local culture in which the Church finds itself. In the second part we review briefly the experience of inculturation made by the Focolare Movement during a mission expedition in Cameroon.
