Abstract: The aim of this dissertation is to enable us to tackle the healing miracles of our Lord Jesus, thus revealing a character sketch of Jesus, His unique relation to the Father, His behaviour and unique nobility of His message, through His miracles. Jesus is in His person, in His inmost being, light and the source of light. This is the first and basic reason why He performs certain actions, proclaims a certain message, introduces into the world a quality of life and love hitherto never seen or imagined or experienced, and thereby raises the question of His own identity. Since Jesus is the Son of the Father in the Trinity and shares the dynamis, logos and agape with Him, the signs He gives, are reflections in our world, of the glory that is His.
