Abstract: This study aimed to explore the relationship between the practicing of the 'Spirituality of Unity' and well-being on the intra-personal level, the inter-personal level and society as a whole. First a biographical outline of Chiara Lubich, the founder of the 'Focolare' Movement was given. This was followed by a description of some important events in the early history of the Movement. These explained the context that gave rise to t11;e Movement's spirituality; the 'Spirituality of Unity.' The Spirituality's important tenets were then outlined and illustrated by personal experiences. These core concepts were then analysed in the light of psychological research done on the subject. The 'Spirituality of Unity' can be considered as providing a method for achieving personal well-being and a healthier society.
