Chris Porter is an Associate Professor in the Department of Computer Information Systems within the Faculty of ICT at the University of Malta.
He holds a PhD in Computer Science from University College London. His research focuses on Human-Computer Interaction (HCI) and Human Factors in Software Engineering, with a strong emphasis on web accessibility, assistive technologies, and improving software engineering processes.
Prof. Porter manages the HCI Lab at the Faculty of ICT, overseeing innovative research and development projects. Additionally, he serves as the leader of the local chapter of the Interaction Design Foundation (IDF), fostering collaboration and knowledge-sharing in the field of interaction design.
