Individuals who experience sexual harassment may suffer emotional distress, psychological impact, and/or a decline in well-being and performance. The organisation may also be adversely affected, including lower morale, reduced productivity, and a negative impact on the overall learning and working environment.

Through this Sexual Harassment Policy, the University of Malta and the Junior College aim to prevent sexual harassment, raise awareness, and ensure that all staff and students are treated with dignity and respect, and are supported through clear reporting and response procedures.
