An act to regulate the trade between Malta and its dependencies, and His Majesty's Colonies and plantations in America : and also between Malta and the United Kingdom

Abstract

Whereas it is expedient to grant further Facilities to the Trade between Malta and its Dependencies, and His Majesty's Sugar Colonies and Plantations in America, as well as between Malta and its Dependencies, and the United Kingdom ; be it therefore enacted, by the King's most Excellent Majesty, by and with the Advice and Consent of the Lords Spiritual and Temporal, and Commons, in this present Parliament assembled, and by the Authority of the fame, That from and after the passing of this Act, it shall be lawful for any of His Majesty's Subjects to ship, in any of His Majesty's Sugar Colonies or Plantations in America, any of the Articles enumerated in the Schedule here-unto annexed, marked (A.), being of the Growth and Produce of any such Colony or Plantation, or any such Articles as may now or may hereafter Malta: be by Law imported into the said Colonies, and to export the fame direct to the island of Malta or the Dependencies thereof, in such Ships or Vessels, and under such Licences, Entries, Securities, Regulations, Penalties, and Forfeitures, as are herein-after particularly mentioned or described.
