Abstract: | Manoel Theatre presents the programme for a vocal and orchestral concert conducted by Mro. Joseph Sammut, led by George Spiteri, and performed by Chorus Melitensis (instructed by Bice Bisazza). The concert starred soprano Antoinette Miggiani, tenors Andrew Sapiano and Aldo Micallef Grimaud, and contralto Rachel Florida. The concert featured the musical works of Rossini, Vivaldi, and Verdi. It also featured the first performance of the song "Te Deum", composed by Maltese composer Joseph Magri. The performance was held in commemoration of the Chorus Melitensis's 10th Anniversary, on the 27th of May, 1971, at the Manoel Theatre, in Valletta. |

Regular programme includes list of featured music including composers, their singers and descriptions, list of Manoel Theatre Management Committee, and list of forthcoming events at the Manoel theatre. Souvenir programme includes essay on the history of Chorus Melitensis, lists of female and male choir members of Chorus Melitensis, photos with signatures of conductor Joseph Sammut and singers Antoinette Miggiani, Rachel Florida, Andrew Sapiano and A. Micallef Grimaud, essay with photo and signature on composer Joseph Magri, list of featured music including composers, their singers and descriptions, photo of Chorus Melitensis with signature of instructress Bice Bisazza, list of management committee members of Chorus Melitensis, and index to advertisers.
