Abstract: Manoel Theatre presents the programme for a musical-literary concert, featuring a full reading of the symphonic poem "Il-Kappella tal-Paċi", written by Anton Buttigieg, with music composed by Carmelo Pace. The concert, which was produced by Charles Abela Mizzi, featured the Manoel Theatre Orchestra (conducted by Mro. Joseph Sammut), Kor Excelsior (directed by Charles Zammit), and Group "Ċpar" (directed by Alfred Debono and Doris Falzon). The event was presented by Josephine Zammit Cordina, and starred Anton Buttigieg, Karmen Azzopardi, and Albert M. Cassola as readers of the featured poem. The event featured the musical works of Rossini, Cilèa, and Verdi. The event also featured John C. Friggieri's poem "Lil Malta Ħielsa" with music composed by Charles Zammit. The event was held on the 13th of May, 1973, at the Manoel Theatre, in Valletta.

Both programmes include note on symphonic poem "Il-Kappella tal-Paċi", list of performance items including their featured performers and crew, list of featured music with composers, note on musical poetic piece "Lil Malta Ħielsa" with photo of its composer Charles Zammit, list of Manoel Theatre Management Committee, and list of forthcoming events at the Manoel theatre.
