Abstract: Manoel Theatre, in association with the United States Information Service, presents the programme for a vocal performance performed by the vocal group "Lex Monson's Afro-American Singers", with Gloria Roberts on the piano. The performance was held from the 7th till the 10th of June, 1973, at the Manoel Theatre, in Valletta.
Description: Two programmes included, one with performers' signatures and one without. Both programmes include short notes on performers Lex Monson, Alfred Thomas, Betan Claudio, Gerry Cooper, Joyce E. Meadows, Padrica Mendez, Elaine Baker and Gloria Roberts, list of featured music including arrangers and featured singers, lists of male and female singers with their vocal range, director's note on the forthcoming programme of Negro spirituals and songs of protest titled "Black and Proud", and picture of the Manoel theatre's booking plan.
