| dc.description.abstract | Kien il-Professur Oliver Friggieri li waqt lezzjoni fil-klassi stieden lill-istudenti biex isawru teżi dwar is-sunetti ta' Ġorġ Pisani. Jien mal-ewwel ħadt dan l-intrigu għaliex kont tabilħaqq imħawwad dwar l-għażla tas-suġġett tiegħi. Għandi għal qalbi l-poeżija romantika u għalhekk ħtaft l-opportunita`. Il-poeżija romantika hi sempliċi biex twassal il-messaġġ tagħha, messaġġ li fil-poeżija moderna hu mgħobbi b'forma kkumplikata. Kuntent li wettaqt din l-għażla għaliex ftit hawn informazzjoni ta' gwida fuq dan il-poeta l-aktar meta niġu għat-trattament tas-sunetti tiegħu. Nittama li t-teżi tkun utli għal min ikun irid ftit informazzjoni dwar it-temi tas-sunetti ta' Ġorġ Pisani - ġeneru li hu mifrux ħafna fost l-awtur. Ġeneralment il-poeta jinqeda bil-forma regolari tas-sunett Xejksperjan jew inkella dak Petrarkjan iżda dan ma jżommx mar-regola fissa l-ħin kollu. Pisani jittratta diversi temi fil-kitba tas-sunett fosthom il-patrijottiżmu u l-fidi iżda l-aktar għal qalbu d-deskrizzjoni tal-pajsaġġ Għawdxi. | en_GB |
