The sample chosen consisted of 30 participants and their age varied considerably. The response rate for this study was of 90%. The participants all of which were drug abusers were chosen from two different entities that offer drug rehabilitation facilities. This study was carried out using a cross sectional and a descriptive design. All the data was collected by means of a questionnaire The findings of this study remarked the importance of interpersonal support received from the family, group and individual therapy. The use of such therapies has proved to be important either separately or in combination. It is also highlighted that although all therapies are essential, individual therapy is the most credited.
