The University of Malta embarked on a Strategic Planning Process to update its vision and mission for the forthcoming years. The Strategic Plan 2020-2025 presents a set of overall goals and a roadmap on how to achieve them. 

The final draft of the Strategic Plan was made available in May 2019 to the entire University community of students, staff and the external stakeholders from civil society, government, industry and pre-University education providers. The feedback obtained from the consultation process helped to fine tune the version of the plan which was presented on the 30 May and 21 June to the Senate and the Council for discussion and approval.
